My identity has yet to be challenged here at Wheelock. I think the only time I’ve been intimidated is in terms of class. Many people here, my roommate especially, come from all different classes. My roommate has a lot more money than I do, always buying me things and taking me places. It has been very difficult since I come from a very different class, because I am unable to reciprocate and “pay her back” by buying her things. Many On Campus Boston students seem to be very wealthy too. Class is very much an intimidating thing on campus bust hasn’t made me feel like I stick out.
