Personally, I feel Wheelock is a place that promotes being yourself, and being diverse, yet does a poor job overall to create this diverse environment. This is coming from someone who is considered a minority in multiple ways at this school. I find it fascinating that this school preaches being diverse and being you whenever it seems to act in the opposite way. For example, this school is primarily white females, both in terms of students and staff. Also, I have come to understand that this school has way to target those minorities that exist on this campus.
